Fueled by high demand and low inventory, the Squamish real estate market continues to be busy leading up to summer. When comparing May of 2016 to May of 2015 we are seeing lower inventory and higher Benchmark prices across the board.
Inventory for detached homes has fallen 22% while the benchmark price has increased by 24%. Similarly total active condo and townhome listings fell by 27% and 50% respectively. The Benchmark price for a condo in May 2016 is 20% higher than that of May 2015. Townhomes also saw a 23% increase.
